School for Musical Talents in Ćuprija is one of the most representative and prestigious institutions in our country. In addition to their core educational activities, the School has a very rich tradition of organizing concerts and competitions. It has a status of a school of particular national importance.
Dragan Đorđević Suzuki graduated from the Faculty of Music Arts in Belgrade. During his education at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London, he played in the London Symphony Orchestra, and was a guest solo cellist in the Royal Northern Symphony. In 2002 he met Young Chang Cho and continued education and training in his class at the Hochschule für Musik in Essen, Germany, where, in 2005, he received a prestigious Honorary Degree. He has won many special awards. Đorđević is a Cello Professor at the Faculty of Music Arts in Belgrade. As a soloist and a chamber musician, he performs in many countries as well as at international festivals. He is very dedicated to the chamber music and is a member of a string quartet Rubikon. Đorđević also regularly performs with the ensemble Double Sens.
Aleksandar Sedlar is a composer, conductor, multi-instrumentalist and producer from Belgrade. He graduated in composition in 2006 at the Faculty of Music Arts in Belgrade in the class of Professor Vlastimir Trajković and in 2016 from the Department of Conducting in the class of Professor Bojan Suđić. He earned a Master’s degree in 2013 in Los Angeles at the University of Southern California (USC Thornton) in the class of Professor Donald Crockett. His compositions were performed with great success in Serbia and abroad, always with positive reactions of the audience and the critics.
