Dance performance NUŠIĆ TRIPTIH
Тhe Belgrade Dance Institute and IUI Transition Dance Company

Тhe Belgrade Dance Institute and the IUI Transition Dance Company will introduce to the Belgrade audience the dance project Nušić Тriptych choreographed by the two of the most significant and respected local and European choreographers - Isidora Stanišić (Serbia) and Maciej Kuźmiński (Poland), as well as the first generation of students from all the departments of this Institute.
This dance spectacle consists of three parts and two breaks, for a total duration of up to two hours. The first part - Оžalošćena porodica (eng. The Bereaved Family) is choreographed by Isidora Stanišić, the second part - Hotel Excelsior by Mačej Kuzminski, and the third part - Mr. Minister by the students.
Each choreographer will search for an adequate theatrical expression and dance vocabulary that most directly communicates with the paradox of the modern world and indicates the actuality of the subjects Nušić dealt with in his works.

Dancers appearing in all three parts of the dance show are: Andreja Simić, Maja Marković, Katarina Stojković, Mila Stijak, Katarina Bućić, Branko Mitrović, Marija Vučenović, Vladimir Čubrilo and Tamara Pjević (alternations - Ana Obradović, Boris Vidaković and Nikolina Milošević).

Snežana Arnautović Stjepanović is in charge of the set design and costume, while Darja Janošević and Željko Ninić are responsible for the music for Оžalošćena porodica and Hotel Excelsior respectively.

IUI Transition Dance Company is a dance company formed within the Belgrade Dance Institute, and it is made up of students of the Master Dance Performance Program.

The project was supported by the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Serbia, National Theater in Belgrade, Ohrid Summer Festival, Nišville Jazz Festival and BELEF.
