“Happy Demo” (parallel feet), originally “Happy Manif” (les pieds parallèles), is an unconventional choreographic promenade that induces good mood and positive emotions. David Rolland, the company’s artistic director and choreographer, and Valeria Giuga, one of the company’s dancers, have worked together in creating this site-specific form of immersive dance dedicated to famous choreographers from the late 19th century onwards, who all had a common source of inspiration – nature. Guided by the two dancers while listening to music on the headphones, participants travel through the history of dance, from classical ballet right through to contemporary dance improvisation, and all this then, with feet perfectly parallel!
